Please join Linda Thayer as she leads a 3-part pro-life advocacy workshop on January 11, February 8 and March 8, 2025. Linda taught science for thirty-four years in the Boston Public Schools and has done pro-life / pro-family presentations for over 250, 000 teenagers in the greater Boston area. She served as a member of the Massachusetts Citizens for Life Board from 2005 to 2018, headed up the MCFL Speakers Bureau, and has served as a consultant for the Archdiocesan Pro-Life Office. Linda was also the featured speaker at the Cape Cod Pro-Life Alliance spring luncheon held at Albertos last May.
There will be a different workshop on each date. You may attend any one or all of the sessions. Each session is designed to stand on its own as well as building upon the previous sessions. The goal of this program is for attendees to become even more confident of their ability to respectfully and effectively engage in pro-life conversations with youth who are just forming their opinions towards life, as well as adults who are either ambivalent towards or in favor of abortion.
Everyone is invited regardless of religious affiliation, all that is required to attend is an open mind. Each session will take place at Corpus Christi Parish Hall in East Sandwich at 324 Quaker Meeting House Road starting at 1 p.m. There is no cost to attend but registration is required to help us plan for light refreshments at the event. On Friday 1/17 there will be a Pro-Life Rosary at St. Francis Xavier Church – Decades will be spoken in Latin, Portuguese, Spanish and English. Printed translations are provided. The rosary begins at 7PM in the church located at 347 South Street in Hyannis.
All are invited to a Novena for Life at Holy Trinity Church on January 16, 17, 20-24 sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.
The Novena will be held following the daily 9am Mass and Rosary in the St. Joseph Chapel of the church at 246 Main Street (Rte 28), West Harwich. The Novena will also be held virtually on January 18 & 19.
Join Boston Pilgrims for the National March for Life Departing on 1/23 at 10pm. Join the Archdiocese of Boston at the March for Life. This trip is for parents with children ages 12-17, adults, or small high school youth groups (ratio of 1 adult to 6 youth, minimum of 2 adults). You will return to Boston immediately following the march at 4pm on 1/24. Limited spaces are available so act soon. Release forms will be forwarded after registration. Total cost is $80/person. Each person 18+ must have a clear CORI as of January 15, 2025. Chaperones must have completed Protecting God’s Children (Virtus) before attending. For more information and registration go to:
