The Alliance has teamed with Your Options Medical to establish a new Women’s Pregnancy Resource Center in Hyannis. Your Options Medical has provided life affirming pregnancy services in Massachusetts for over thirty years and currently operates centers in Brookline, Fall River and Revere, along with a mobile medical clinic able to deliver services anywhere in the state.
Your Options Medical seeks to empower women to make an informed decision on their pregnancy. When a woman comes to Your Options Medical their pregnancy is confirmed by a pregnancy test administered by a licensed nurse. When fully operational, the pregnancy is further confirmed using ultrasound imaging performed by a qualified sonographer and read by a licensed physician. A compassionate patient advocate will meet with the patient and together they talk through the different options available to her and resources that are available to assist her during and after pregnancy. This enables the patient to understand how each choice may affect her emotionally, relationally, spiritually, and physically. Your Options Medical does not provide additional services such as abortion or pre-natal care so there is no need to make any decisions at the time of the appointment. Women facing an unplanned pregnancy are able to take their time, gather the facts, and then decide.
